National Organizations
ALFA
The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) is the largest national association exclusively dedicated to professionally-operated assisted living communities for seniors
AAHSA
The members of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging serve two million people every day through mission-driven, not-for-profit organizations dedicated to providing the services people need, when they need them, in the place they call home.
ASHA
Members of American Senior Housing Association are executives involved in the operation, development and finance of the entire spectrum of seniors housing - senior apartments, independent living communities, assisted living residences, and continuing care retirement communities.
CAST
The Center for Aging Services Technologies (CAST) is leading the national charge to develop and deploy emerging technologies that can improve the aging experience in America

ALAA
The Assisted Living Association of Alabama is a non-profit corporation dedicated to advocacy for seniors in our state.
AzAHA
The Arizona Association of Homes and Housing for the Aging (AzAHA) is a not-for-profit trade association representing more than 100 facilities dedicated to providing quality health care, housing and services to over 12,000 elderly Arizona citizens.
CAHSA
Colorado Association of Homes and Services for the Aging Established in 1968, is the state's largest and oldest nonprofit organization representing providers of housing and health-related service options to Colorado's elderly. More than 250 member organizations belong to CAHSA, including nursing facilities, retirement communities, independent living, HUD housing, adult day and other community-based services
CALA
The California Assisted Living Association (CALA) is an organization devoted to the betterment of Assisted Living by providing; leadership to assisted living providers and other stakeholders in the assisted living field, advocacy to protect the interests of providers and the consumer-focused service they provide and education to support the provision of high quality programs and services.
GAHSA
The Georgia Association of Homes and Services for the Aging is an affiliated partner of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA).  GAHSA's membership, of nearly 100 housing and service providers, proudly embraces the continuum of long-term care by serving over 124,350 residents and clients in Georgia! Approximately 4480 compassionate, caring, and well trained staff serve these older Georgians.
IAHSA
The Indiana Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (IAHSA) is an association representing not-for-profit services and facilities for the elderly
IAHSA
Iowa Association of Homes and Services for the Aging inspires leadership and benevolence in its members through networking education, information and advocacy
LSN
Life Services Network of Illinois (LSN), a statewide trade association, has represented providers of the complete continuum of services for older adults, including nursing facilities, assisted living, senior housing and home and community based services.
MassAging
Massachusetts Aging Services Association is the only Massachusetts membership association representing the full continuum of not-for-profit providers of aging services. Members are sponsored by religious, fraternal, and other not-for profit groups.
MASS-ALFA
The Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association is a non-profit association devoted to supporting the establishment and operation of quality assisted living residences in Massachusetts that provide appropriate supportive housing and services for individuals with varied needs and income levels.
Mid-Atlantic LifeSpan
LifeSpan represents more than 300 senior care provider organizations in Maryland and the District of Columbia. LifeSpan’s members include non-profit and proprietary assisted living, continuing care retirement communities, nursing facilities, subsidized senior housing and community and hospital based programs
PANPHA
PANPHA represents over 320 nonprofit providers of long-term care and housing services for 65,000 elderly residents across Pennsylvania.
TAHSA
The Texas Association of Homes for the Aging (TAHSA) was established in 1959 as a Texas not-for-profit corporation. Its purpose is to provide leadership, advocacy, and education for retirement housing and nursing home communities that serve the needs of Texas's retirees.
VANHA
VANHA represents the interests of the not-for-profit facilities serving older adults in Virginia; to advocate for and educate its members through the ongoing development of an effective association.
WALA
WALA is the premier statewide association for Wisconsin's assisted living industry, with over 600 members representing nearly 11,000 residents

Canadian Organizations
OANHSS
Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors is a provincial, non-profit organization representing long term care facilities, seniors housing, and community agencies that provide care and services on a not-for-profit basis.
ORCA
Ontario Retirement Communities Association is a voluntary, non-profit association established in 1977 that sets professional operating standards, inspect and accredit retirement residences in Ontario
BCRCA
The BC Retirement Communities Association provides leadership and networking for its members. BCRCA members are committed to innovation, resident choice, and excellence in market-responsive retirement communities
